Here we are at Sea World!!! It was definitely a highlight on our trip to Florida! We wouldn't recommend getting the meal plan however! Barfaroni!!! It's a lot of money and you're only limited to a few choices...all of which aren't very good! If you go to Sea World, Shamu has two shows: his regular one during the day and Shamu Rocks at night. We highly recommend seeing both...it was really cool! And if you want to get wet, sit on the lower right hand side!
Dolphin & Whale Show
This was taken at the dolphin and whale show. This was our second favorite show at Sea World! I cried...I know...I have issues! LOL These creatures are truly amazing though and to watch them in action just got to me. I'm just glad Josh didn't have the camera so he could take a picture of it. Of course he was getting a good laugh at my expense!
Sting Rays!
Feeding the sting-rays was an adventure!
Both kids chickened out but still had smiles on their faces!
I can't say I blame them for backing out. Here I'm feeding one and it is completely terrifying when all of a sudden a swarm of gigantic sting-rays come at you! I don't care what they say, it does kind of hurt!!! This is the first and last time I'll ever feed one! Even Josh backed out after feeding one or two. We ended up giving the bait to some people next to us.
Shark Encounter!
Here we are at the shark encounter. Kate became convinced that a great white shark was going to bust through the glass and eat us...
(not a great white)
...and like a concerned and caring mother, I grabbed the camera to document the event as it unfolded!
I believe this little guy is called a Sea Dragon. They look just like seaweed.
Shamu Stadium
Shamu, Shamu!!
Shamu getting a massage from his trainer.
The kids got to meet and greet the trainers after the show. Jack loves to give high fives!
After Shamu Rocks (the night show)...where we sat in the lower right hand side. I'm not sure we would have chosen to do that if we had known how wet we were going to get that week at Disney due to Tropical Storm Fey...oh who am I kidding?! Of course we would have! It was awesome...and COLD!!!!
Balloon Ride
So, the kids wanted to ride this twirling ballon ride (think Teacups at Disney). We agreed to go on it as long as they didn't spin the balloon. Little did Josh know, that would be the least of his worries...
...as you can see, they don't make these ride for a family of four with a big daddy measuring in at 6'4"! So here is my knee precariously positioned in a most delicate area!!!
And what a guy! Smiling through the fear!!! Meanwhile, I'm trying not to pee my pants!

Sniff, sniff, boo-hoo...Amber, you're a dork. There's no crying at Sea World. Hey, good thing that wasn't a bumpy ride.
No, Becky...in the words of the great Tom Hanks, "there's no crying in baseball"! There are no ground rules regarding crying in or around Sea World.
