Another Jackism

Mister Jackers has been sick over the weekend and has been hanging out in his tank top and shorts to keep his very high fever down.  I thought it would be a good idea to get him into a new pair of jammies for the night and as I walked past the bathroom where Josh was helping Jack dress, I overheard Jack exclaim:

"Dad!  Look at it, look at it!!!  It's growing!  Do you see it?"

Josh responds:  "You mean your nipple?"

"YEAH!  Look it's GROWING!"

"Well, it's just because you're cold...that's just what they do."

Of course I'm nearly losing it in the laundry room and can only imagine the day when he realizes something else on his body involuntarily moves.  You gotta love little boys... :-)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

What could be better than the first substantial snowfall and early release from school???  We surely don't know!
Kate and Jack decided to test out their new tube from Aunt DeDee (DeAnn) and Uncle Dave.  It was AWESOME!!!

Mater was having fun too!

For those of you that don't know, I have a third child.  He is a little furrier than the others and walks on all fours, but he is my baby none-the-less!  If you scroll down a bit you can even see that either Jack resembles Mater or Mater resembles Jack...I'm not quite sure which way it goes.

This calls for some hot chocolate!

Christmas Concert

The kids had their Christmas concert last night and unfortunately I wasn't able to get one good photo of the kids on stage.  As a consolation, my little neighbor buddy Jake (who is now my boyfriend, so he says) came and sat with me during the concert.  He thought it was fun taking pictures, and since I think he is so cute, I had to share them.

P.S.  Josh is a little jealous and ready to rumble! Such an ego that one. LOL  I think Jake can take him though.

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is a time to be with family and friends and we really took that to heart this year. As you can see, our table might be the longest in history.  It seats 19 people if you were wondering.  We were so blessed to share this wonderful holiday with so many people that are close to us.  All the food was hot, the conversation and laughter was abundant and my 30 lb turkey didn't disintegrate like the one on Christmas Vacation (that was what I was truly thankful for!).  Thank you all for coming and for all the yummy dishes you brought.  We cherish our time together and always look forward to being with you!  I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving this year and always!
