The Stage was set for the best Pirate Birthday ever!
Here's Jack with our emergency cake. I originally tried to make a bomb cake with a twizzler as the fuse. Unfortunately it looked like a turd on a string and tasted like it too! LOL Josh was sent out early Saturday morning to locate a cake that wouldn't be a complete embarrassment! Luckily for us, he was successful!
The hit of the party was the treasure hunt. We hid clues all over the house and in the yard. The kids followed the clues to the treasure that was buried in our woods. We had taken a cooler and buried their goodie "treasure chests" and an assortment of candy inside.
The kids couldn't get to their clues fast enough!

Happy Birthday, Jack! Looks like an awesome party! Where's a picture of the turd cake? And, how do you know what turd cake tastes like?
Well, this was pre-blog so I forgot to take a picture...but believe me...you've seen something like this before!!! LOL And how do we know what it tastes like? Josh of course!!! He's the official crap tester... unfortunately there is no payment for such services.
